ii “The listed suspect pulled a knife on a Cincinnati Police Officer, then the officer fired two
shots from his hand gun. Suspect was hit twice and expired at the scene. One projectile was
recovered at the scene along with two casings. Compare the two casings with the hand gun &
also compare the projectile.
“Please check the submitted swab sample for DNA and compare any findings to the deceased.
(Swab sample taken off the switchblade knife which was recovered from 1833 Chase Ave–scene of the
police shooting)”
iii “I have submitted two swab samples to you in reference to a Fel. Assault. The victim, Jason
Weller, was cut with a Pirate Sword, by listed suspect, Davis Hebert at 4352 Virginia Ave #5.
Suspect fled scene and was later located by police at 1833 Chase Ave. Suspect pulled out
a switchblade and was shot and killed by police.
“We processed Jason Weller’s apt for evidence and the pirate sword was located down behind a
toaster oven. Could you please check the submitted swab (labeled “swab off Handle of Pirate Sword”
for DNA and compare to the suspect, David Hebert.) *The other swab (labeled as “Swab off Blade of
Pirate Sword”) was to test for blood, however, no Buccal Swabs were obtained from Jason
Weller.”
iv “Firearm was used by a Cincinnati police officer in the line of duty when a subject pulled a
knife on the officer. The subject expired at the scene.”
